BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
The final confirmation email/message will be our contract. It will be your responsibility to check the content of the email/message and the receipt of your confirmation will determine your agreement with services, dates, and fee quotes.
On making a booking and putting a session date on the agenda, you agree to:
- Pay half the amount in advance or full payment for gift vouchers and individual services, unless We (intended as My Glow-Up Colours consultants) agree on a different payment method;
- Pay a refundable deposit for packages less charges for admin (£35) plus travel costs either via public transport, train, boat or plane – while the payment of the final invoice is requested before the appointment takes place, unless We (intended as My Glow-Up Colours consultants) agree on a different payment method;
In the case of cancellation or exceptional circumstances – We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel and will reimburse deposit less admin charge of £35.
Bookings are not secured until the (initial) payment/deposit is received.
TRAVEL
Shopping and Wardrobe sessions take place in London. Other cities can be considered, whereby travel costs and time will be agreed beforehand.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are possible. Cancellation will incur an admin fee of £35 plus any travel costs for 48 hours or less.
Rescheduling an appointment is possible and free only up to 48 hours before the date. Rescheduling will result in losing the date secured and may require a new deposit payment to secure date of session.
BELONGINGS & PURCHASES
During the in-person styling and shopping sessions the client is responsible for any personal belongings. We won’t be accountable for any lost property.
For all shopping sessions (online and in-person):
- We won’t be accountable for clients’ change of mind nor for goods defects, size, fit or quality issues.
- We won’t be accountable for non-finalized purchases, as long as we provide the service within the agreed deadline, alongside our support and expertise.
BOOKING WITH MY GLOW-UP COLOURS
The consultant (Chaz) is licenced as a Colour Analyst, and as such we equally expect clients to kindly respect this and only contact or make bookings directly with My Glow-Up Colours for Colour Analysis and services.
DELIVERABLES
My Glow-Up Colours are committed to delivering exceptional results for our clients. To ensure the utmost success, we kindly request your full engagement in the process. Before your in-person Colour Analysis sessions, we ask that you:
- Prepare to complete a personality questionnaire
- Prepare for vegan based foundation to be applied to jaw area of face for a minimum of 2 minutes (this isn’t mandatory)
- Remove all make-up
- Wear a white T-shirt
- Prepare to wear lipstick as part of the final draping
- Allow for 2 hours to complete the full analysis
- Allow for 30 mins before and 30 mins after session to complete any documents and share outcome of colour analysis
- Allow for a picture to be taken for final draping
- Feel relaxed and enjoy the experience
- Turn phones on silent
We acknowledge that dedicating time to this process may be a challenge but this time spent to identify your colours is an investment that will have lasting value and impact.
My Glow-Up Colours provides a one-to-one service and therefore all in-person colour analysis’ cannot be completed with friends or relatives present. This is to ensure the methodology and outcome is as accurate as possible.
Please expect that the My Glow-Up Colour Analyst will:
- wear neutral coloured top (typically white) throughout the analysis
- wear a white headband
- not wear make-up other than concealer
- remain objective throughout the analysis
- answer any questions to the best of her capabilities
- provide further information at the end of the session
- make contact with the client between 4-12 weeks after session to check-in and answer any questions
Our primary goal is to ensure you have an outstanding experience and are thrilled with the results. In the unlikely event that you have any concerns or complaints about the service provided, we encourage you to communicate them promptly, either during the session or within 48 hours afterward. Open and honest communication is key to achieving the best results, so please feel free to share any concerns with your stylist for timely discussion and resolution. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
